Static Wall Recordings, no purchase just trade as HNW tears the face of the listener and the speakers you have no worries left, no nostrils with which to stench, no eyes with which to viddy, realise the bothersome notion of slang and back chat, harsh noise rails against the walls. The walls of itself caving in within a continuous bounty of mis trust and cavernous regret. Puke on the floor, slam head against the door, trap fingers under the floorboards, first track does not like you, just wants to remain anonymous and cumbersome, just wants to pull pores out at the root. First track called, ‘Cold Gaze’, do you witness the full 12:26 on a summer day. No. Please. Maybe, this is basement music, tied down, smile at the passers by as they take a piss against your house. Cannot get up? Try harder! Legs will not do as electrical impulse wants them to. Lazy. Fucked. Cannot use arms when stumps. Harsh noise has seen to that, vibrations now grating against the spokes of the spine. Nerves collapse and shiver above the floorboards. Were you diagnosed with…? Second track needs no introduction, ‘Self-Induced Vertigo’, are you white noise fanatic? Pull out the freeview, piss on the aerial and turn the volume up. Have you been cheated? This may not occur with digital widescreen 40”, dig out the cathode ray from the sandpit in the garden and repeat process. Wow! Do not take this back to Dixons, you have found your worth. Second track just hisses into you, no space or time for revealing emotions. Colder than the basement floor. Seeing as there is nothing of your left you have nothing left to say. The Album did its job.
